Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative App Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that align with myUniMate’s mission to transform the student journey. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in iOS and Android development and a passion for creating user-friendly and impactful applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in mobile app development, with a strong portfolio of iOS and Android apps.

• Some proficiency in Swift, Java, Objective-C, and modern mobile development frameworks.

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

• Experience with APIs and third-party libraries.

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Knowledge of code versioning tools (such as Git).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning and AI integration in mobile apps.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment.
